Our Story

From 15 years ago members of our team were on the ground giving risk management support to international development NGO projects. From security work in remote parts of Colombia under USAID to building resilience plans for charity projects in Haiti we understood the need for ground truth and nuance. We helped enable community acceptance delivery models to get aid into gang run areas of Port Au Prince and navigated stakeholders in border regions.

Deploying in support of major events like the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, G20 in Buenos Aires and participating in security for Presidential Town-halls in Miami we gained experience of the intricacies of event risk planning and preparation.

Domestically in 2020 we answered the call to support social justice movements and media teams during the Floyd protests, deploying to Minneapolis, then NYC, LA, DC & Houston. We went ahead together to provide safety during the electoral period.

We helped amplify the voices of those celebrating the historic Supreme Court decision, we were there protecting international media on January 6th 2021 at the US Capitol and saw first hand things that we incorporate into our trainings today. We returned regardless to help secure the coverage of the Presidential Inauguration.

We now continue to assist various progressive organizations to help meet the moment and stay safe and successful in the 2024 USA electoral year.

Our Team

Our team is led by an expert in organizational safety and security, with domestic and international experience spread over 25 years. This includes being the embedded Security Advisor to a nationwide immigrant rights movement for the last 7. From within experience has been gained over 20 actions, electoral campaigns, annual congresses and summits.

Having a former divisional Head of Security for a US media corporation also brings additional perspectives of protecting major events, high profile individuals & small teams in charged situations such as protests and political rallies.

Our work is based on understanding threats and technically proven methodologies, including certifications such as Certified Protection Professional (CPP) by the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS).

So together we are grounded in years of technical experience from the corporate security world & enriched with our varied work with over 20 social justice movements, 10 NGOs and 5 international media teams.
